We decided that we needed to take some vacation time and since Josh would be leaving our nest we wanted to spend some quality family time. What better way to get that time than to go camping. It was our hope last year while in the states to do this but due to other family needs we weren't able to go . So, this summer we packed up and loaded down the van. Off we went to travel to and fro!
Frist stop NYC, we traveled from Florida up to New York. It was a great camp site but when arrived it was raining. It took us only about 45 minutes to get everything set. Once we set up we got up early the next morning and began our adventure to the Big Apple. We only had one full day to see all the sites. We also wanted to catch a Broadway play so we planned and hit the road.
some of the sites we saw: World trade building, the site where the Twin Towers once stood, visited many of the Fire Houses that lost so many Firemen, we then took a bus tour of the city. We weren't able to go to a Broadway play because everyting we wanted to see was sold out, next time though. We visited all the big sites and at at the Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant :) Mmm Good! What a fine end to the day!
