catching up - here's our new kitchen

Here is our kitchen before and then after it was completed. I had been trying to get this project completed since moving in to our home in October but the prices were just too expensive. After really praying and just taking my time we found an older man who was willing to do it for the price we could afford. He came in and looked at the kitchen and asked where do you cook now? I told him we don't cook much but when we do I have to wash the dishes in the bathroom. He laughed and said you are not like most foreigners I know. :) I took that as a good thing :) .

I asked him if he could get it completed by thanksgiving and he said, he would work hard to do so. Well, he did and it was just beautiful! :)

We cooked our first real meal - Thanksgiving! It was done up big and it was so nice! the only thing we missed was our Josh but he spent Thanksgiving with some dear friends in Auburn. :)
