Jan.14th the day has come!
What do I mean, you ask?
Well, Josh our oldest heads back to college today. I can't believe it and I'm so sad! I will truly miss him alot. I can't believe how fast the month has gone. It has been just amazing to see how much he has changed and matured. He is truly growing up to be a fine youngman.
Today will be busy getting the suitcase packed, loaded up in the car and then travel to the airport. I did so well when we said goodbye in the states but this time? I fear the tears will fall. I have gained such an appreciation for what my mom and dad have said so many times before. It never gets easy saying goodbye to your kids and seeing them leave and go. I guess if your the one leaving it isn't all that bad but when your the one being left. OUCH! it hurts! So, to our parents whom we come in to your lives and leave way too much! Know I feel your pain!
I don't worry though because I know Josh is having a great year. The transistion has been a smooth one from highschool to college. I really do attribute that to his Morrision experience. They did a fine job of preparing the kids for College and also living in the dorm had great benefits. Never mind he had WONDERFUL Dorm parents both times!
Josh, as many of you know, is a gifted young man. He plays the guitar, sings and is just a chatter box in all the good ways. He is presently being talked to by 2 recording companies. He is very excited about these two very exciting possibilities. His music is really good and it is obvious that he is a gifted youngman!
Please do pray for him as he seeks the Lord and learns about the music industry along the way. We are really praying that this summer we can begin getting him into church youth groups so that he can share the word and his songs. He is getting really excited. If you know of a church that might be interested in having Josh come to play and sing and share let us know- we'll be working on a a schedule this summer for the fall and spring of next year.
As I was saying he is leaving today to head back to college. We will miss him but we will see him again real soon. I just wanted to share with you how wonderful it has been to have him home for the holidays!
Josh- we love you~
Mom , Dad, Justin and Kayla!
