More Yard Work

It is getting hot in Chiang Mai and so we have decided that we really need to get on the ball and finish our yard project for this month. We are hoping to work in the yard this weekend to finish planting around our fence/ wall and then plant the rest of the pretty flowers that were left over from a couple of weeks ago.

Our goal is to plant a big tree to the left of the drive way to give us some shade in the heat of the afternoon and then plant some blooming shrubs along the post of our wall and then fill in them in with the birds of paradise thingys that we planted a couple of weeks ago. They are mostly green leafy plants that have a pretty bloom that some say looks like "birds of paradise". I personally don't see the resemblance but what do I know?

We are also going to work to get our house finished on the inside. We painted the inside of the house when we first moved in and had to stop in the hall way because our ladder broke and we couldn't reach to the ceiling to finish the job.

We also want to take Justin's bed apart and then give it to our gardener for his family and then buy Justin a new single bed and chest of drawers. His room is so small that the bed he has now just takes up too much space and as a result it always looks cluttered and messy! he's ready for some organization! CAN YOU SAY YIPPY! :) I'm happy but Dwayne is thrilled!

well, then Dwayne is off to Turkey for some training and then a father son trip.

I'll finish up getting the curtains and painting Justin's and Kayla's room while they are all away! ;)

Or that is the goal!

sounds like fun? Well, more like WORK! I'll be so glad to get it done though and finally feel totally settled in!

have a great rest of the month! I'll post some pictures of our BEFORE and AFTER work!

love to you all!
