Each year during Spiritual Emphasis week at Grace the kids have special Chapels and then end the week with a ministry trip. Each grade plans a trip each year and does some kind of ministry trip. This year Justin's class took an orphanage here in Chiang mai to the new night safari. It was a rewarding day and a great way for our kids to have a chance to minister on their own. Justin really enjoyed it and had a great time with the kids. Kayla's class took a 10 hour bus ride to an orphanage that helps Karin refugee's. She returned last night and shared some with me about her experience. She shared that they had the opportunity to go to the largest refugee camps in the world. Over 70+ thousand refugees are in this camp most of them are from Burma and have fled the country because of the war and the threat of life. I've asked Kayla to write some of what she experienced and she has said she would. So I'll post that this week. We hope to have some pictures of this life changing experience.
It is really a joy to see our kids grow up and to see that they are Claiming their Faith for their Own. It isn't just what Mom and Dad believe!
Thank you Lord ! You are an awesome God!
