Josh update
I just wanted to post an update on Josh - it's been a while since I've had the chance to write about him. He's doing so well at school and is loving Liberty University. It has been such an amazing experience and we are so very proud of him and what he's accomplished.
For those who don't know Josh is majoring in Intelligence and minor in Government. He is looking at going into Law but first he's going to pursue his love for Intelligence. This year he's been invited to attend a few Symposiums on Intelligence and security. He absolutely loves going to these things because he really gets to talk politics and gets to meet some pretty intelligent folks. At one of these events he called me right after returning to Liberty and shared how amazing it was to be having a conversation with one of the Ambassadors and how they really were interested in what he was thinking. He was so amazed at that! I wasn't though because Josh has some great thoughts and he's not lacking in the area of conversation. :)
This term he's also been writing more music with the band Ceasura : http://www.myspace.com/caesurava or http://www.purevolume.com/caesura : check out the link and listen to some of their music... pretty amazing!
He's also writing some of his own music and you can check that out at http://www.purevolume.com/JoshuaKHughes.
He is a talented young man with lots of dreams - We are so proud of him...
His latest news is that he's been asked to do an internship at the White House~ yes that's the Big White House. We are just praying that God will use him in amazing ways there and will help him to see that our Country needs some new Young men with Integrity and Values that will represent our Country in the Near Future.
There's more I wish I could share but as he begins to develop his Future there are things we can't share- As he has shared with us... the career choice he is choosing will likely mean that we are in the dark about alot of what he is doing and where he is going. All the more to be praying for him and asking Father to guide each step he takes...
Oh and as it turns out: Josh will be graduating in May of 2008. Yep that should be his Junior year but he's ahead of the game and is working hard in school... Okay- I know some of his high school teachers are just now getting up from the floor but we all knew he could do the work... he just had to have some fun in the mean time! :)
Well, As you can all tell we are thrilled at how Josh is doing at College and Proud just isn't sufficient in how we feel as His parents.. We know the Lord is going to use him in Amazing ways....
