Blessings and the Mundane

We have waited to buy our mattresses because we just haven't had the money to buy them. It takes quiet a bit to set up a house and well, we had to just prioritize the things we needed right away. I was beginning to worry abit when Dwayne was scheduled to arrive on the 16th and still we had no mattresses. I just prayed and trusted that Father would provide for us as He saw fit to provide. We received a gift in the mail from our family in Ozark and it was enough to buy mattresses. I can't tell you how SWEET it was to sleep on a REAL mattress. NO More air mattresses. I remember only once before when I had to sleep on an air mattress and that was back when Dwayne and I first got married. Thankfully Dwayne's parents sent us an air mattress and it wasn't but a month until we were able to purchase a bed. :) It's all worth it in the end you realize you can do alot with alittle. :)

God is good and I just had to share how faithful He is and that sometimes we do have to wait a while before we see what the Father is doing. I wouldn't do anything different. It was worth the wait......

Thank You Lord!
and Thank you Ozark for being faithful to give as the Lord leads.........

oh on a more mundane note ~ I was talking with a new friend and she made the statement that when furniture gets to be 25 years old it is antique. Well, This bed is roughly 19 years old. I can't hardly believe it is that old but it is back up and being used after being stored for the last 11 years. Where has the time gone? Won't be too much longer and this bed will actually be an antique by its own right!

New Places and New Adventures
