What a great time we had in Missouri. It had been almost 4 years since Dwayne was there and oh about 14 or more since I was there. The scenery hadn't changed much since I was there but one thing different about this trip - he took me fly fishing at Bennett Springs.
We had a great time just fishing together and enjoying the beauty of the great outdoors. As I sat on the bench watching Dwayne the last day an elderly gentleman sat beside me and we talked for over an hour. As we shared stories of our lives he shared how his wife who had passed about 2 years ago- really enjoyed fishing together. He looked at me and said, "When you share a hobby together it makes for a good marriage!"
I thought to myself, "yes indeed it does"!
