Life is never dull these days. It seems like there are days that I wake up and can't believe the road we are journeying on is for real. Ever just wake up and think, " Lord, is this for real?"
It's been strange going from being a family in a full time ministry in a foreign country to
being just us, Dwayne and I, back to full time military life.
Wow, what a change. If someone would have asked me a year ago where I thought we would be
I would have thought, possibly serving in another foreign field or back in the states doing church work. Never, no never in a million years would I have thought I would be returning to military life.
However, that is what it is like when we serve a God who truly is amazing.
We have officially completed our time with our past employer and while it was bitter sweet to leave we would have to say it was a joy to serve under their umbrella of leadership. We know the Lord is using this company to do amazing things.
Now we look forward to getting our kids settled back into their lives as students and then begin our new adventure as Empty nesters..... and relocate to the Tacoma, Washington area.
We do have some prayer requests if the Lord should bring us to mind please lift up these things.
1. Pray for our kids to all transition back to school. Josh will be completing his Senior year. Justin starting his Sophomore year and Kayla is starting her Freshman year at Auburn University.
2. Pray that the Lord would prepare for us a special place to live. We will be looking for a house in the Tacoma area and if it is the Lord's will - we hope to buy our first home.
3. Pray for Dwayne and I as we begin this new ministry - in serving our Men and Women in the U.S. Army!
We will be changing the look of our blog in the coming month. :)
