Lijiang Home Away from Home

We use to tell our kids one day you will look back on your life in china and realize what a rich blessing it was to you. Even though at times our kids missed their grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles, they often looked forward to being back in the states to see them but now as they are older, they have indeed looked back on their time in China with fond memories.

For those of you who haven't seen the place we called home for over 12 years, here is a small look at what our city looked like. Xuan Ke was and is a friend and our kids learned the ancient music instruments under his direction. Dwayne had the privilege of helping this group go to Seattle Washington to perform for an international audience. It thrills my soul to see the place we call " Home away from home!"

The only thing is Ann C. pronounces the name wrong- it is Lee Jawng, not lee jang!
