Wisconsin was by far our favorite place - I'm having problems posting pictures so I'll just share a bit of what we did and what we saw.
We really did enjoy the time together. It was a trip I will remember. Dwayne and I laughed and talked but we never got bored! ;)
We were amazed at the scenery and with every turn of our head we kept saying, Surely it can't get any prettier... we were amazed daily at how blessed our country is and how bountiful it is!
We enjoyed each place whether the city or the country, mountains or desert .
We stopped in Black River Falls, WI and ate hand picked apples from Cain's orchard.
They were so yummy!
We loved going through North Dakota... I couldn't believe how much it resembled Texas and then it burst forth with canyons and wow- what a way to end our drive through ND.
THE BAD LANDS ~ were beautiful and to see wild Buffalo still roaming.... too cool!
Then we headed to Montana- the land of my dreams. I love this state and one day I hope to see it in all it's glory with snow on every mountain! :) Surely I will now that I'm so close!
And then it was off to Idaho- All I have to say is we love the kellogg area and we hunkered down for 2 days just resting and sleeping. We ate "the BEST" steak ever at the Wolf's den and then went and had something to wet our lips at the Snake Pit...
Don't you just love those names!
Then we were off to our final destination: Washington!
Finally we arrived and we hit the ground - house hunting.
I have to say we were a bit dismayed.
come to find out the area we started looking in is Notorious for being on the show.....
COPS.....
you know "bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do..."
Oh yeah- needless to say, we got some helpful ideas and we are hoping to see a house today!
Well more later and hopefully I'll get to post some pictures then too!
