Just 2 more days....

It's just 2 more days until Dwayne gets home and I have to say that I'm so excited about getting to see him. I've really missed him this month. It's been a packed month and I can't hardly believe that it's already the middle of the month. We have about 2 weeks before Dad Hughes comes for a visit and then Dwayne is off again for another 14 day or so trip.

He's already talking about the yard and what he wants to do next. :) I was a bit worried this last time. He had only 2 days between his trips and he spent one of those days working in the yard. He planted 2 more morning glory vines and then 12 bushes- the name just left me :) Oh, Bougainvillea- I couldn't spell it so I had to look it up and No my spelling was no where near the right way.. HA! Somethings don't get better with age :) but worse!

So anyway, my job while he was gone was to keep them alive. The one day I spoke to him he asked about the yard. I laughed and said, that he was really not thinking too clearly to plant them literally one day and then leave the next. I could tell he was a bit worried and I started laughing.. I said, well, they all lost their leaves but they are coming back slowly... LOL! He was like MELISSA! are they dead!

I swear, you would think the man would know I have the smallest, tiniest bit of green in my thumb - its enough to say that I can keep something BARELY alive! and thus - Yes the plants he planted are still alive but barely! :)

Anyway, nothing else is going on this week. It's just starting to cool off a bit and that is nice. I have been able to open up the house a couple of times this week. I really look forward to the cool weather and getting some fresh air. I sat outside for while and enjoyed the breeze and sunshine!

Mei mei got a hair cut and is looking really pretty for her Daddy to come home...

Don't ask about the CAT! IT's A HE and not a SHE and it's far from being a CALM CAT!

Dad, remember AC! Well, double that energy and it might come close to CODY! - Kayla is in denial... she says the VET has to tell her before she believes it... So , tomorrow she/it goes to see the doc for her/his shots.....
