Out and about

We are trying to get settled into routines and that's pretty hard with my traveling so much. Kayla is doing well in school and is settling pretty well. She is taking photography as one of her fun classes. She's learning how to develop pictures and just about every day comes home to share about all the details of how fun it was or how hard it was ;) . I'll post some of her first pictures as soon as she gets them developed. She had to take some black and white pictures and will develop them herself!

The boys are getting established into some good study habits. Justin said he was having a test this next week and he was going to have to take some time to study. He is really enjoying school and seems to really enjoy his subjects that he's studying. More on that later.

Josh is working hard and writing more music too. He's really disappointed he won't be graduating this may the school decided they wouldn't give him any Life credits for having lived overseas in China and having some language. So now he has to have his full 12 hours of language. He is now getting excited about maybe going to Manchester for a study abroad program for next fall. This will enable him to get those language classes and then graduate a semester early.. He'll graduate December 2008. :) Pray for Josh though because he has a passion for his music and isn't sure what the Lord wants to do with him and this gift of writing and singing. I've tried to add his songs to the player below ? Not sure if will work! If there not there then go to : www.purevolume.com/JoshuaKHughes and listen to some of his music!

Mei our pooch is loving her new home. She is settled in and finding things she just LOVES to do. One of her favorite things to do is to go out on the balcony and watch the BIG dogs go out to go potty. She likes to watch the golfers but I think the thing she loves the most is to watch the birds. :)

I think the one thing we are enjoying the most is the weather- the season is just about to change ! It's getting cooler in the evenings and early mornings are reminiscent of Chiang Mai weather. We are looking forward to the Fall weather and we are already starting to pull out our fall decorations.

We are missing Dwayne alot these days. I look forward to seeing him this next week. The kids will get to see their dad in late October. That will be a wonderful family reunion!

Boy do we all look forward to being closer together and having more family time. These past few years have been wrought with long distances and separations! So we are all looking forward to some much needed family time and less traveling!

More later!
