Running
I thought I would share some pictures of what it looks like on my running route. I'm just now getting back to running after taking a much too long hiatus. So the pain is great and man it is taking much longer to get my milage back. I'm up to running about 3 miles but it's not consistent from day to day. So, I'm trying to run hard for 2 miles - twice a week. This route is about 2.5 miles total. There is only one long hill and it's a killer. This is a nice route because I pass one pond with horses and the other is just well you can see for yourself. It looks like there's a trail that leads around it. I'll post more pictures of my routes as I get the chance. Kayla and I have 3 routes we take. One is on a golf course and it is up and down all the way, meaning pretty hilly. The second is mostly up hill in one direction and down hill on the return leg home. It's about 3.5 miles total.
My goal for the month of September is to get my milage back up to 5-7 miles consistently.
I've got a ways to go before being ready for my 1/2 marathon but I'm going to accomplish that goal this year !
