First let me just say, how very close to finishing my first full semester of classes. 14 hours and it's been both fun, challenging and at times stressful. I'm thrilled that it looks as if I'll finish well and for that I'm so very thankful.
Kayla is just 18 days till she's finished with her senior year and wow, I can't hardly believe how fast this year has flown by. She too is looking forward to her senior year being over and starting this next chapter - moving into adulthood. :) She has added a new family member to the family - Bella who is a chocolate lab. yes, it seems my daughter beat me to my dream of having a chocolate lab - but I'm loving her and seeing what I have to look forward to hopefully in the very near future!
Josh and Justin are finishing their semester this week and will be heading to the river to work a few weeks before Kayla's graduation and then they will be coming home to help us sort through our junk that has been stored since we left way back in 97'. Yeah, that's a long time and there's some old stuff to sort through.. I had a peek at it this past summer and thought to myself, what the heck were we thinking when we packed that?
:) Should be fun!
Kayla Graduates May 23rd and we take off for her Senior trip- she chose to go to Scotland and so we will leave on the 27th and will be gone about 14 days. We are so excited! She and I will be taking this trip and hope to do the West Highland Way - a hike that totals 93 miles. We hope to make it in 6 days. :) Pray for me! I've been preparing and getting back into shape- ask kay what she's been doing to get ready. She'll willingly say, Nothing! :) ( Oh to be young again! )
Well, that's about it for now! More later~
