We love to go and explore on the weekends so since we rented some motorcycles we decided the weather was just too nice to sit inside and not enjoy the weather and sunshine. So we all packed on to 3 motorcycles. Kayla and Dwayne, Josh and Justin, Erick and myself. We hit the road and headed toward the mountians. It was nice and fun! We decided we would stop along the way to see some of the sites so our first and what would be our last was a Waterfall.
We headed up this dirt path that started out nice and turned into a muddy, gully! Dwayne and Kayla lead the way, then Josh and Justin and Ericka and myself pulled up the end. It was not too fun however, I laughed most of the way up. I can't tell you how many times Ericka and I almost went off some deep gullies and how many times Josh and Justin hit us from the side due to sliding. We did make it to the top and I was just a tiny bit nervous about our decent. We hiked a bit to the waterfall which was more like a fast moving wave. It was pretty but not anything I was expecting to see. It looked like a section of rapids that would be most fun to go down but not really! Well, we had our share of the sights and decided it was time to get back on the road.
I have to say that we let the boys lead the way and then Dwayne and kayla next and yes, myself and ericka pulled up the back. Well, it was pretty slippery going down but at Ericka's suggestion she said, no spegetti arms. So I tightened my arms and held tight to the handlebars and off we went, slowly. In one area, Dwayne thought it was close enough to the road so he let loose with one hand to put on his sunglasses and all we heard was : DADDY! NO! and then laughing....... Yep, they wiped out. Kayla was on the ground laughing, dwayne was sprawled out on his back not saying anything and then he looked back as I was scared he had injured his back. He looked at me and said, only my pride! then our sweet daughter said, yeah, dad was putting on his sunglasses! well, when we realized everyone was fine and no one was hurt we laughed really hard!
I have to say, we made some memories that day! :)
