It has been great to drive again. Where I am staying is really right in the middle between Boulder and Estes Park. They are only about 30 miles in either direction. It's mostly mountain driving and so it's just so beautiful. 
This is for those who love scary movies. Do you remember "The Shining" , with Jack Nichols? Well, this is, The Stanley Hotel. Where the movie was filmed. As you drive into town it sits on a small hill to the right of town and you can see it's beauty from pretty far away. Well, because of the National forest all around the Estes area. There is all kinds of wild life. Here are some Elk. I was told that during the spring and especially the fall months you can see them all around town just walking across the streets. It was pretty strange seeing them so close to the hotel. 
Here they are again.... there was one buck that was herding them and pushing them away from his area of grass. he would just head butt them and they would all jump and run about 3-4 feet away and then slowly they would come back around him again.
