What, another adventure?

I was thinking about what to share and I guess I'll share what things have happened this past week!

This journey has been anything but normal to me and I know Dwayne feels the same way. Just about every single day we look at each other and think- can you believe we are here?

What a joy it is for us though. Just this week as Dwayne went to work every day and began the hard task of learning this new role and all that is required of him. He was feeling a bit overwhelmed at times and as we prayed for the men in our Battalion, and Dwayne continued meeting soldiers. He came home and shared that one soldier shared his story and others have begun opening up. It was great to hear how some are beginning to connect with Dwayne. There are some however that give the Chap a cold shoulder. That is to be expected after all we aren't in China any more. For those who don't know- in china everyone really wants to get to know you but here in the states, being a Christian doesn't always bring the warm fuzzies. Anyway, a great week!

Dwayne and I had another great weekend. We have tried to find fun things to do that aren't expensive and still enables us to get out and explore this new state we now call home. So......

We headed out on a road trip up the coast line to Port Angeles, WA.

We have more pictures of the Crab Festival but I'll have to post those a bit later.

New Places and New Adventures

After so much time away it feels refreshing to be back at blogging.  Here are just a few picture...
